While already on track to play big-time college basketball, Thomas Bryant said his transfer from Bishop Kearney to a school in West Virginia is an opportunity he should take. Bryant, a 6-foot, 9-inch junior who played with the USA Basketball men’s 16-under team overseas during the summer, was named Most Valuable Player of last season’s Class AA tournament. Rob Fulford, coach of the Huntington Prep basketball team, tweeted a message last Thursday that welcomed Bryant to the program. The actual school Bryant will attend is Saint Joseph Central Catholic.
