Tyler Roberson was one of three members of Syracuse’s incoming freshman class that played in the Mary Kline Classic, along with Brewster Academy’s Ron Patterson and Lower Merion’s B.J. Johnson. While Patterson and Johnson are both redshirt candidates in their first years as members of the Orange, it’s going to be difficult for Jim Boeheim to keep Roberson off the court. An athletic and long 6-8 forward, Roberson is an absolute beast on the boards, with great footwork and positioning.
