There have been no shortage of basketball stars at Abraham Lincoln HS over the last two decades. From Stephon Marbury to Sebastian Telfair to Lance Stephenson, the Coney Island school has produced some of the best players to ever come out of New York City. That trio has inspired current Lincoln junior Isaiah Whitehead, who’s been heralded as the next great Railsplitter since his freshman year, and he’s lived up to the hype, emerging as the city’s best player this year while being recruited by a plethora of powerhouse Division I programs.
