C.J. Fair’s tip-in basket in the waning seconds lifted Syracuse to a 57-55 victory over Cincinnati on Monday. A low-scoring first half gave way to a high-powered second, with the teams combining for 72 points. Fair finished with 13 points and six rebounds, and he played all 40 minutes.
