Editor’s letter: Happy holidays!

Dear Juicers,

As we get set to close the doors on 2011 and gear up for 2012, we’ve gotten a mixed bag from Santa this year.

On the one hand, the basketball team has an opportunity to go into the new year as the No. 1 ranked team in the land. On the other hand, the Bernie Fine scandal has taken some of the luster off of it.

How about football? The team had a dramatic 49-23 win over West Virginia earlier in the year. That same team lost its last five games of the season, and is sitting home during bowl season.

But while we’re all making a list and checking it twice, I get the feeling like 2012 is going to be a special year for Syracuse. And it is definitely going to be a special year here at The Juice Online, as we’re expecting to make a major announcement in January involving a partnership with a major media entity.

So from everyone here at The Juice Online, here’s wishing you a happy and healthy holidays, and best wishes for a great new year.
