Syracuse closes out regular season against St. John’s

The Orange wrap up its regular season against the Red Storm (4-9, 2-3 Big East) on Saturday at the Carrier Dome. A win would give No. Syracuse (13-1, 5-0) its straight outright Big East regular-season title. It’s also Senior Day at the Dome, meaning that 14 seniors, including John Galloway and John Lade will be honored before the game.

The No. 4-ranked Syracuse men’s lacrosse team owns a 12-1 record—the only blemish an 11-6 setback to Cornell on April 12. Sounds good, except the Orange have been criticized because seven of those wins were by two goals or less.
