Recruiting Roundup: Syracuse receives commitment from OL Will Froumy

Syracuse received a commitment from offensive lineman Will Froumy on Tuesday, he tweeted. Other schools to offer him included Bryant and UMass. He does not have a rating on Scout, but picked up an offer from Syracuse over the weekend after he camped there.

Kofi Cockburn, a 2019 big man from Christ the King (NY), picked up an offer from UCLA on Tuesday, according to Rivals.com’s Eric Bossi. He holds offers from Syracuse, Indiana, Georgetown and Florida State, among many others.

Scout.com’s Mike McAllister caught up with 2018 Texas quarterback Chance Amie after he camped at Syracuse over the weekend. During the visit, he caught up with head coach Dino Babers and spoke to the entire coaching staff. Houston and UNC are among the other schools targeting his services.

Georgia wide receiver Jaquavius Lane has narrowed his list down to eight schools, he announced on Twitter on Tuesday. The schools include Kansas State, UCF, Louisville, Marshall, Syracuse, Rutgers, Florida Atlantic and Colorado State. He is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.
