Recruiting Roundup: Syracuse extends offer to 2017 five-star Billy Preston

Psst. Syracuse – this is how you should schedule your football games. On to today’s recruiting links…

SNY.tv’s very own, Adam Zagoria, reports that star 2017 guard Hamidou Diallo wanted to “get a more in-depth look” at Syracuse this weekend. Diallo took a visit to Syracuse this weekend and will take similar looks at other schools, as well. Among the schools recruiting him include Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and UCONN.

Billy Preston, a 2017 five-star big man, tweeted on Monday that Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim visited him and extended him an offer. Preston had originally been focusing on Kansas, USC and Maryland, but coaches from Indiana, Kentucky and Syracuse visited him last week.

Five-star center Nick Richards took an official to Kentucky over the weekend and had an ‘unbelievable’ visit, writes 247 Sports’ Chris Fisher. Among the other schools pushing for his services include Syracuse, UConn, Arizona and Indiana.
