2017 Quade Green announced his top nine schools on Friday night via Twitter, and Syracuse has made the cut. The other finalists include Kentucky, Kansas, Xavier, Arizona, Duke, Villanova, Temple and Louisville. 247 Sports has him rated the No. 27 player in his class.

2017 4-star shooting guard Alex O’Connell has locked in an official visit to Syracuse on September 16, according to Scout.com’s Evan Daniels. O’Connell previously visited the Orange in June, and has used an official visit to Louisville.

Elite 2017 tight end recruit Charles Reeves tweeted #CuseArmy during his visit to Syracuse over the weekend. The Ohio product is down to Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Nebraska and Penn State.

Another recruit visiting over the weekend was 2018 Maryland running back David Bailey. He tweeted after his visit “Syracuse was lit … enjoyed myself a lot!!” He has also taken visits to Penn State and Maryland.

The third visitor for the football team this weekend was 2018 ESPN 300 tight end Pat Freiermuth, he tweeted on Friday. The Brooks School (MA) product has a four-star rating from 247 Sports and holds offers from Duke, Maryland, Syracuse, Wake Forest and Penn State, among others.
