Recruiting Roundup: Syracuse lands commitment from 2017 WR Nykein Johnson

Friendship (DC) Academy wide receiver Nykein Johnson committed to Syracuse on Tuesday, reported Scout.com’s Mike McAllister. The 2017 prospect picked the Orange over offers from Charlotte and Virginia.

Scout.com’s Corey Bender writes that Syracuse extended an offer to 2017 Florida athlete Duran Bell, his first Power 5 offer. His other offers include Western Kentucky, Bowling Green, Middle Tennessee State, Kent State and Miami (OH).

2017 point guard Quade Green received an offer from Duke on Tuesday, reports SNY.tv’s very own, Adam Zagoria. Green is one of the fastest rising prospects in his class, and also holds an offer from Syracuse.

Harrison Bailey, a class of 2020 quarterback from Powder Springs (Ga.), tweeted on Tuesday that he picked up an offer from Syracuse. Other offers include Florida, Miami and UNC.

2019 defensive back Jaden Davis from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) tweeted that he picked up an offer from Syracuse. He also holds offers from Mississippi State, Mizzou and Kentucky, among others.

Syracuse extended an offer to 2018 wide receiver Daniel George, reports Rivals.com’s Adam Friedman. The Maryland native also holds offers from Pitt, Rutgers, Va. Tech and Louisville, among many others.
