Congratulations to the men’s lacrosse team for winning its second straight ACC Championship! On to today’s recruiting links…

Syracuse bolstered its backcourt depth over the weekend by landing a commitment from Colorado State transfer John Gillon. The graduate transfer visited Syracuse over the weekend and tweeted his commitment shortly after leaving. Gillon averaged 13.2 points last season and is immediately eligible to play.

The Orange is still in the hunt for a big man, however, after SU lost out on Cheickna Dembele. The 2016 forward announced his commitment to UNLV, though the Orange hosted Taurean Thompson over the weekend. However, Thompson also picked up an offer from Michigan State over the weekend, further complicating matters.

Syracuse offered a trio of Miami (Fla.) Edison prospects over the weekend, reported Rising Stars. The three are offensive lineman Danielson Ike and defensive linemen Kayode Oladele and Nadab Joseph.

The Orange was busy in Florida, also extending an offer to 2017 Florida defensive back Sean Bouie. The story was first reported by Scout.com’s Corey Bender, and it is Bouie’s first college offer.

Mentor (OH) High quarterback Tadas Tarunas tweeted about his visit to Syracuse over the weekend. The 2018 prospect called the visit “awesome.”

Have a great start to your week, everyone.
