Recruiting Roundup: Gabe Sherrod commits; Syracuse offers Ryan Solt, Tommy Devito, Eric Coley

What a big recruiting weekend for the Orange. Over 40 football players and four basketball players were on hand for the Syracuse/NC State game. Let’s get right to it…

Graduate transfer Gabe Sherrod tweeted on Sunday evening that he had committed to Syracuse. The Delaware State product will help sure up a depleted defensive line.

Wilkes Barre (Pa.) offensive lineman Ryan Solt tweeted that he picked up an offer from Syracuse. The 2017 three-star prospect also holds offers from Rutgers, Maryland and Army.

Don Bosco Prep (NJ) quarterback Tommy Devito tweeted that he received an offer from the Orange. The 2017 signal-caller also has offers from Bowling Green, Maryland, Temple and Yale. He is rated two-stars by Rivals.

2018 defensive back Reggier Pearson Jr. was also among the prospects to receive an offer over the weekend, he tweeted. The River Rouge (Mich.) recently visited Western Michigan and Northwestern, and also picked up an offer from Bowling Green.

2017 running back Allen Stritzinger from Warren (Mich.) tweeted about his offer from Syracuse. He is rated three-stars by 247 Sports and holds ofers from Michigan, Cinncinnatiand Buffalo, among others.

Laurel (Md.) wide receiver Cameron Sullivan-Brown has over 20 offers now. Syracuse is the latest one for the 2017 prospect, according to Twitter, a list that includes Duke, Kansas, Louisville, Indiana and Illinois.

Eric Coley from Fayetteville-Manlius (NY) tweeted that he had received an offer from the Orange. Other offers four the 2017 athlete include Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Ball State.

Three-star running back Decavilon Reese, a 2017 prospect from Cleveland (OH) has offer in hand from Syracuse, he tweeted. He also holds an offer from Toledo according to Scout.
