Report: Tyus Battle to take official visit to Syracuse this weekend

Michigan verbal Tyus Battle is reopening his recruitment and will take an official visit to Syracuse this weekend, Scout.com’s Evan Daniels reported Friday morning.

Battle, a five-star 2016 guard, committed to Michigan on May 11. He had scholarship offers from Syracuse, Kentucky, Duke, Louisville and Ohio State, among other schools. The New Jersey product is ranked No. 19 overall in the Scout.com class.

“I just felt comfortable and I really enjoyed the school when I was out there,” Battle told SNY.tv after making his commitment. “The mixture they have of academics and athletics, you don’t find many places. I just felt really comfortable at the school and I loved the school.”
