Rowan Barrett, assistant GM and executive vice-president for Canada’s senior men’s basketball team, says players like Kitchener’s Jamal Murray represent a future wave of national team and NBA players. “Jamal is one of the top young players in the world — without a doubt,” said Barrett during a phone interview Thursday. “And when you see someone like that, you start to wonder if there are more like him in Waterloo Region.”
