Instant Juice: Syracuse 19, Colgate 6

A quick take on Syracuse’s 19-6 win against Colgate on Saturday afternoon:

WHAT HAPPENED: Syracuse jumped on an overmatched Colgate early and kept its foot on the gas, quickly turning Senior Day into a rout.

The Orange romped to an easy win on Senior Day.

WHAT IT MEANS: Syracuse’s lacrosse people are better at doing lacrosse than Colgate’s lacrosse people.

STAR GAZING: Senior Chris Daddio was dominant at the X, winning 15 of 21 face offs. The Orange probably could have lost every one and still won going away, but the oft-maligned senior continued his recent run of strong play to help ensure the contest was never in doubt.

WHAT’S NEXT: The waiting game. Syracuse will find out who it is playing in the NCAA Tournament in tomorrow’s Selection Sunday show.
