Forward Cheick Diallo holds offer from Syracuse — Cuse Clicks

On Saturday night, Pope John XXIII High School (Sparta, N.J.) hosted the first annual Living Hope Festival to Benefit Cancer Research. The game featured sophomore Cheick Diallo a 6-9 forward/center and native of Mali. Diallo finished with 20 points as he dominated inside with his tremendous shot-blocking ability and athleticism. Only a sophomore, he currently holds offers from St. John’s, Pitt, UConn, Syracuse, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Iowa State, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, UNLV and Providence. He also has interest from Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio State.

The Big Orange was founded in 1992. The publication was one of approximately 50 independent publications devoted to the coverage of its school’s athletics programs. The Big Orange was a weekly/bi-weekly print publication until 2002 when it became The Juice, a glossy monthly print magazine which was owned by Fox Sports. The print product ceased publication in June of 2010 and was relaunched as in December of 2010.
